How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a miniature aquarium, you will need:
- a transparent plastic globe
- modeling sand
- small shells
- green caterpillars
- small wooden fish
- a pair of scissors
- a small spoon
- precision tweezers
- a glue gun
Step 1
Remove the globe's lid and then glue it underneath using a glue gun to create the base of the aquarium.
Step 2
Fill the globe with a few spoons of modeling sand. (Here, we used 4 spoons of sand).
Conveniently, the modeling sand, with its unique texture, will allow us to easily insert the decorations into the small aquarium!
Step 3
Cut 3 pipe cleaners to obtain 6 pieces of 15 cm.
Fold each piece in half and then twist the pipe cleaners to create marine algae.
Step 4
Plant the caterpillars in the sand to create a lovely underwater background.
Tip: use tweezers to plant the elements accurately in the globe!
Step 5
Place a few small shells on the sand using a tweezers.
Step 6
Place the small wooden fish in the aquarium using tweezers.
With modeling sand, you can even rearrange your aquarium or change the decoration whenever you like!
