How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create a flower canvas, you will need:
- a thick blue sheet (A4)
- a thick light green sheet (A4)
- a thick dark green sheet (A4)
- white sheets
- a thick black marker
- round stickers
- alphabet stickers
- a glue roller
- a pair of scissors
- a black and white frame made of sturdy cardboard
- markers
Step 1:
Draw 3 flowers with a black marker, about 10 centimeters in size.
Step 2:
Cut out the flowers, leaving a slight white border around the black line to create some contrast.
Step 3:
Decorate the flowers using the round stickers.
Step 4:
Tear a strip of dark green paper widthwise to create the grass that will form the background of the canvas.
Step 5:
Glue the end of the dark green sheet onto the blue sheet, making sure to leave a white area of about 10 cm at the top of the canvas.
Note: use a glue roller, applying glue only on the edges of the sheet. This will allow you to slide the flowers between the sheets at the end of the activity.
Step 6:
Cut out green leaves by hand, alternating between light green and dark green paper, then glue them one on top of the other.
Step 7:
Glue a black and white frame over your background using the glue roller.
Step 8:
Personalize the top of the canvas by writing "The Garden" or the child's name using the alphabet stickers.
Step 9:
Glue the flowers between the green leaves to complete your canvas.
Step 10:
Finally, color the different elements of the canvas with markers to give it a touch of color.
