A colorful activity to do with children for the return of sunny days!
Using patterned paper, a plastic pot, and stickers, we will show you how to easily make a beautiful flower with sparkling colors. A simple craft that even the youngest can achieve without any difficulty.
This pretty flower will add a lovely touch of color to the home, but it will also be perfect as a gift for Mother's Day!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a flower, you will need :
- a strong yellow cardstock (A4 - 300 g/m²)
- a small plastic pot
- patterned paper
- a wooden stick (20 cm)
- petal stickers
- adhesive lace
- a pair of scissors
- a stick of white glue
- hardening modeling clay
- 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a pencil
- clear adhesive tape
- yellow paper grass
Step 1
Draw 2 circles on a strong yellow paper using the plastic pot and then cut along the outline.
Step 2
Cut about 20 patterned paper strips (1 cm x 7 cm).
Step 3
Apply glue to the entire surface of a yellow circle, then stick on small strips of paper to create the petals of the flower.
Step 4
Glue the second yellow circle above the paper strips.
Step 5
Turn the flower over and decorate it with googly eyes, 2 small round stickers, and a marker.
Step 6
Stick a wooden rod to the back of the flower with a piece of adhesive tape.
Step 7
Cut out small leaves and glue them onto the wooden stem.
Step 8
Decorate the small plastic pot with petal stickers and adhesive lace.
Step 9
Place a ball of hardening modeling clay at the bottom of the plastic pot.
Step 10
Insert the wooden stick into the modeling clay.
Step 11
Place paper grass in the pot for a nice finish.
