Paper Flowers

To make a paper flower about 12 cm in diameter, you will need:

- colored paper sheets measuring 25 x 35 cm (130 g/m²)

Note: You will need as many sheets as the colors you want to include in your flower.

- a ruler

- a pencil

- a pair of scissors

- elastic thread

- a stick of white glue

- a ribbon to hang your flower

Cut 10 strips of paper measuring 25 x 3 cm.

Here we have cut 5 strips from a turquoise blue sheet of paper and 5 strips from a dark blue sheet of paper to create a bicolor flower.

Layer the strips of paper on top of each other, alternating the colors (turquoise blue, dark blue, turquoise blue, ...)

Once the strips are properly stacked, mark the center and make 2 small notches of 0.5 cm on each side of the strips.

Cut a piece of elastic thread about 20 cm long and wrap it around the strips of paper, making sure to pass it through the side notches.

Make a knot, then cut off the excess thread.

Apply about 1 cm of white glue stick to the end of a strip of paper, then attach this part to the center to form a flower petal.

Repeat until a complete flower is achieved.

The structure of the flower is now complete.

Cut out colored paper circles of different sizes that you will layer and glue at the center of the flower.

To hang the flower, simply thread a piece of ribbon through a petal, make a knot, and then hang it in the desired location.
