How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a paper parrot, you will need:
- A4 colored paper sheets
- Paper twine
- A pair of scissors
- A glue stick
- A black marker
- A pencil
- A hole punch
- A cutting mat
Step 1:
After printing our free template, cut out the different shapes.
Step 2:
Trace the outlines of the shapes on colored paper.
(here we chose red for the body and yellow for the beak)
Step 3:
Cut out the body and beak of the bird.
Step 4 :
Glue the beak onto the body of the bird.
Draw the separation of the beak with a black marker.
Step 5:
Cut a circle of about Ø 2 cm from a sheet of white paper and draw the pupil using a black marker.
Step 6 :
Paste the eye.
Step 7:
Layer four sheets of different colors and cut four strips of paper measuring 29.7 cm (length of the sheet) x 2 cm.
Cut the ends to a point.
Step 8:
Glue the four strips of paper this way.
Step 9:
Add a dot of glue in the center and fold like this.
Step 10:
Repeat the same steps, this time with four strips of paper measuring 21 cm (width of the sheet) x 2 cm.
Step 11:
Glue the two feathers onto the body of the parrot. Use the small strips for the wings and the larger ones for the tail.
Step 12:
Finally, make a hole at the top of the head, pass a cord through the hole, and tie it.
