How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a wooden butterfly
- a wooden base
- a plastic bottle
- acrylic markers
- flower stickers
- holographic adhesive strips
- a small bouquet of artificial flowers
- a glue gun
Step 1
Decorate the wooden butterfly using acrylic markers.
Practice: Acrylic markers have excellent coverage and can easily cover a wooden surface, even a dark one! You can also layer colors for even more possibilities.
Step 2
Decorate the small plastic bottle with flower stickers.
Step 3
Stick a colored adhesive tape on the side of the wooden base to add a nice shiny finish.
Step 4
Glue the bottle to the end of the base using a glue gun, then insert the butterfly into the slot of the wooden base.
Note: Add a dab of glue under the butterfly for a secure attachment!
Step 5
Place a small bouquet of artificial flowers in the plastic bottle to transform it into a beautiful vase!
