Small Paper Christmas Trees

Here is the list of materials needed to create a paper Christmas tree:

- a sheet of colored paper (around 130 g/m²)

- metallic cord

- star beads

- paint markers

- scissors

- compass

- ruler

- pencil

- hole punch

In a sheet of colored paper, cut out 3 circles with diameters of 10, 8, and 6 cm.

Fold a circle of paper in half.

Fold the paper circle a second time to create two perpendicular creases.

Fold the circle one last time to achieve the same folds as shown in the picture next to this text.

1 white line = 1 fold

Using a hole punch, make a hole of approximately 3 mm at the center of the circle (at the intersection of the 3 folds).

Fold 2 flaps inward as shown in the picture beside.

Once the two folds are tucked in, you should have a "triangle".

Make the same folds on the other 2 paper circles.

Cut approximately 40 cm of metallic cord, fold it in half, and then tie a double knot as shown in the picture on the side.

Pass the cord through the largest paper circle so that the knot made in the previous step is inside the "triangle".

The double knot made should not go through the central hole.

If it does, make another knot over the double knot.

Tie a double knot just above the tip of the first "triangle" to secure the base of the tree.

Thread the second "triangle", then make a knot just above to secure it.

Do the same with the last "triangle" (the smallest).

Once the 3 "triangles" are stacked, add a star bead on top of the tree.

If you wish, you can decorate the little tree with paint markers...

You can create small fir trees in different colors to bring some color to the real Christmas tree.

Hanging throughout the house, these small fir trees will be a true decorative addition during the holiday season!
