How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 1
Before you begin, ensure that the surface of your glass lantern is clean and dry. Use a cloth soaked in alcohol to remove any grease or dust.
This step is essential to ensure good adhesion of the paints and decorations.
Apply your chosen special glass paint to the glass jar, ensuring to create a uniform effect.
Step 2
To achieve finer traces and drawings, start by unscrewing the cap of the 3D paint pen. Then, screw the precision metal tip onto the opening of the tube. This tip allows for better control of the paint flow and makes it easier to create detailed patterns on your surface.
Step 3
Apply a little paint directly onto the lantern.
Step 4
Attach a rhinestone to the still wet paint, which acts as glue, while drawing a decorative outline.
Step 5
You can add other patterns: swirls, floral designs, stars, or any other inspiration.
Allow your creation to dry completely in the open air for several hours or even overnight.
Step 6
Wrap the metal wire around the pot and create two loops using jewelry pliers.
Step 7
Shape a handle with the metal wire, then insert each end into the loops created in the previous step.
