Ghost Cage
Discover a simple and quick activity to create an original Halloween decoration!
Using a glass jar and a styrofoam egg, children will make a ghost cage.
We will also add light decorations to achieve a stunning effect once night falls.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a ghost cage, you need:
- a glass jar (240 ml)
- a polystyrene egg (6 cm)
- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 12 mm
- a black marker
- gel adhesive dots
- bat stickers
- a glow bracelet
- an LED candle
Step 1
Glue 2 moving eyes Ø 12 mm onto the egg using adhesive dots.
Draw the ghost's mouth with a black marker.
Step 2
Stick the egg with an adhesive dot on the inside of the lid.
Step 3
Screw the lid to close the jar and then decorate it with bat stickers.
TIP: use adhesive dots to attach the small bats.
Step 4
Place a glow bracelet around the neck of the glass jar.
Step 5
Close the lid and then place a LED candle on top of the jar to create a bright Halloween decoration.
