Abracadabra! Here is an enchanting activity that will delight children for Halloween. With a styrofoam cone, a plastic egg, and a bit of black paint, they can create an adorable little funny witch. Then, all they need to do is add eyes, some colorful buttons, a small broom, and of course... the famous pointed hat!
To enhance the creation, it will be glued on a wooden log accompanied by a miniature pumpkin for a magical autumn scene.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a witch, you will need:
- a polystyrene cone (11 cm)
- black paint and a paintbrush
- a colored plastic egg
- a wooden log (Ø 8 to 11 cm)
- small decorative pumpkins
- a mini witch hat
- a mini broom
- eye stickers
- colored buttons
- adhesive rhinestone strips
- a glue gun
- a black marker
- a pair of scissors
- a skewer stick
Step 1
Paint the polystyrene cone with black acrylic paint and let it dry for 45 minutes.
Tip: Stick the cone on a wooden skewer so you can paint it without getting your hands dirty!
Step 2
Cut the tip of the cone (approximately 1.5 cm).
Step 3
Decorate the base of the cone by sticking on a strip of adhesive rhinestones.
Step 4
Stick 3 colored buttons onto the witch's body using a glue gun.
Step 5
Glue the felt hat onto a colored plastic egg by applying 2 dots of glue inside the hat.
Step 6
Stick 2 googly eyes and draw a smile using a black marker to create the funny face of the witch.
Step 7
Assemble the witch's head and body using the glue gun.
Step 8
Glue the witch onto a wooden log (near the edge), then attach a small pumpkin and a mini broom beside your character to complete your creation.
