The Queen of Octopuses

To make an octopus, you will need:

- a polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm

- acrylic paint and a paintbrush

- a wooden skewer (to paint the ball without getting your fingers messy)

- 3 or 4 chenilles, 30 cm long

- 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm

- a sheet of flexible glittery rubber (self-adhesive)

- a heart-shaped rhinestone

- paint markers

- a stake attachment (if you want to hang your octopus)

- double-sided adhesive tape or strong white glue

- a pair of scissors

Insert a wooden stick into the polystyrene ball and then paint it with acrylic paint.

Cut 3 chenilles of 30 cm into 2 pieces to obtain 6 chenilles of 15 cm.

Wrap the 6 chenilles of 15 cm around a pencil to form "springs".

Pull from both sides to form 'springs' to make them larger.

Insert the 6 wavy caterpillars into the foam ball to create the octopus tentacles.

Stick 2 mobile eyes Ø 2.5 cm onto the polystyrene ball using double-sided tape or strong white glue.

Draw a crown on a sheet of soft glittery rubber and then cut along the line.

Glue the wreath onto the polystyrene ball.

Draw the octopus's face with acrylic paint markers.

If you wish to hang your octopus, attach a hook behind the crown.

Your lovely octopus is now ready to reign over the ocean depths!
