FIMO paste, a renowned polymer clay, transforms into a solid material after baking. With its fine texture and ease of handling, it allows for a wide variety of artistic techniques, from sculpting to painting. The colors are mixable to create new shades. Like all modeling clays, FIMO pastes can be worked by hand, with rollers, spatulas, cutters, and other modeling tools.
The essential properties of FIMO pastes compared to classic modeling clay are their durability (which is achieved after baking) and their finesse, making them the ideal clay for making jewelry or figurines.
FIMO pastes come in several ranges: the "Soft" pastes are the classic color clays, the "Effect" pastes include ones with specific color effects: translucent effect (which occurs after baking), glittered or pearlescent effects, pastel colors, neon effect (the clays become fluorescent under blue light), and finally the "leather" pastes that offer a leather effect, with the particularity that this clay will remain flexible even after baking.
Instructions for use:
- After shaping your object, place it on parchment paper and bake it for about 30 minutes at 110°C.
- Once the baking is completed, allow it to cool for 1 hour before varnishing the creation.
All FIMO pastes are suitable for children aged 8 and above.
