FIMO clay is a polymer clay that becomes rigid after baking. Its fine texture and flexibility make it an ideal material for modeling, cutting, smoothing, rolling, gluing, and painting. The colors are mixable to create new shades. Like all modeling clays, FIMO clays can be worked with fingers, rollers, spatulas, cutters, and other modeling tools.
The essential properties of FIMO clays compared to traditional modeling clay are their durability (which is gained after baking) and their fine quality, making them the go-to clay for making jewelry or figurines.
FIMO clays come in several ranges: the "Soft" clays are the classic colors, the "Effect" clays group together those with a specific color effect: translucent effect (which takes place after baking), glitter or pearlescent effects, pastel colors, neon effect (the clays become fluorescent under blue light), and finally the "leather" effect clays, which maintain a soft texture even after baking.
Instructions for use:
- After modeling your object, place it on parchment paper and bake it for about 30 minutes at 110°C.
- Once baking is complete, allow to cool for 1 hour before varnishing the creation.
All FIMO clays are suitable for children aged 8 and above.
