Posca Fine Tip Markers - 4 Colors
Fine tips (0.9 to 1.3 mm) PC3M
POSCA markers contain water-based ink combined with lightfast pigments.
Permanent on porous surfaces, once the paint is dry, you can varnish your creation with gouache or acrylic paint varnish. On smooth surfaces, Posca is temporary; you can fix the paint on porcelain by covering it with a water-based aerosol spray varnish, spraying from 30 cm away in small circular motions. Items decorated with Posca markers lose their food-safe status.
- POSCA on fabrics such as cotton, silk, linen or muslin, polyester, viscose, and coated canvas: for better adhesion, wash your fabric before decorating. Start by outlining your design, then color in gradually to avoid any blotting effect on delicate fabrics. To set the colors, iron the fabric inside out without steam.
- POSCA on glass and windows: erasable with a damp cloth or glass cleaner.
- POSCA on glass and ceramics: for non-food use, set the colors with a water-based varnish.
- POSCA on unglazed terracotta and porcelain: bake the item in an oven at 220°C for 45 minutes to set the colors.
In general, for optimal results on dark surfaces, it is recommended to use white first and then go over with the final color.
