Size: 10 x 10 cm, 20 x 20 cm or 30 x 30 cm.
These Lefranc Bourgeois canvases combine a 100% cotton fabric weighing 350 g/m² with a solid spruce frame dried in a kiln to resist warping. Ready to use, they are coated with a gesso rich in titanium dioxide pigment. Available in three square sizes: 10 x 10, 20 x 20 and 30 x 30 cm.
The canvas is hand-stretched for optimal tension with fitted corners. Wooden keys are included to tighten the canvas if needed. Acid-free and archival quality, they offer increased durability. The 10 x 10 cm size is for testing, 20 x 20 cm for small compositions, and 30 x 30 cm for larger subjects.

10doigts tip: If the canvas loosens before painting, use the wooden keys provided. Insert them into the slots at the back corners of the frame: two keys per corner, with the pointed end down and the longer side parallel to the frame edge. Gently push them in by hand, then tap lightly with a small hammer on the flat side, without forcing. Do this corner by corner, checking the tension after each key. A well-stretched canvas sounds dull, like a drum, when tapped.
