Christmas Tree Pop-Up Card

Here is the list of materials needed to create a Christmas tree pop-up card:

- a light green card (A4 size or equivalent)

- a sturdy white card (A4 size or equivalent)

- Christmas stickers

- red ribbon (approximately 20 cm per card)

- hole punch

- red paint marker

- scissors

- glue stick

- ruler

- pencil

On the green sheet, draw 4 strips measuring 7, 6, 5, and 3 cm wide.

Once the lines are drawn, fold the sheet in an accordion style widthwise (the pencil lines should be perpendicular to the folds).

Width of each fold = 1.5 cm

Group the folds together as shown in the adjacent photo, then cut the sheet into 4 along the lines from step 2.

You now have 4 paper "accordions" of different widths.

Fold the white cardstock in half.

Stick the 4 small paper accordions (the largest at the bottom and the smallest at the top) to the left inside part of the card against the central fold using a glue stick. 

Once these 4 elements are glued, apply glue on the top side of each accordion and then close the card so that the 4 accordions are nicely "flattened".

Upon opening the card, we see that the small paper accordions now form a tree.

Decorate the inside of the card with Christmas stickers.

Close the card and then make a small hole using a hole punch.

This hole will allow us to attach a small ribbon to close the card.

Decorate the front of the card with a red paint marker and Christmas stickers.

Cut about 20 cm of red ribbon and then close the card using this ribbon.
