Using a bowl, popsicle sticks, clothespins, and a bit of paint, we will show you how to make an adorable crab.
This easy craft, suitable for kids aged 3 and up, will delight children who can then use this little crab to decorate their room.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a lovely crab, you will need:
- a white bowl made of plant fibers
- 2 polystyrene balls Ø 3 cm
- 8 wooden sticks
- 2 wooden clothespins
- a bow tie sticker
- red paint and a paintbrush
- rhinestone strips
- a black marker
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the following items with red acrylic paint:
- the white bowl
- 8 wooden sticks
- 2 wooden clothespins
Step 2
Draw two black circles on the polystyrene balls and then stick them at the top of the bowl with the glue gun to create the crab's eyes.
Draw a nice smile with a black marker and then attach an elegant paper bow tie.
Step 3
Glue 2 clothespins to the sides of the crab using the glue gun.
Step 4
Shorten the 8 wooden sticks that will be used to create the crab's legs using a simple pair of scissors.
Step 5
Glue the wooden sticks under the bowl using the glue gun.
Step 6
Decorate the crab's legs by sticking on silver rhinestones.
Step 7
To enhance the elegant look of this adorable crab, you can pick a flower from the garden (or even make one) and slip it into its claw!
