How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a polystyrene bell
- acrylic paint and a brush
- a wooden skewer
- two-tone paper (15 x 15 cm)
- googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- fabric bows
- a black marker
- adhesive dots
- a paper cutter or a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the polystyrene bell with acrylic paint.
Tip: Insert the bell onto a wooden skewer to paint it without getting your fingers dirty.
Step 2
Cut 6 strips of 15 x 2 cm from a sheet of two-tone paper.
Practical: the paper cutter allows you to cut perfect strips with ease!
Step 3
Wrap the paper strips around the handle of the brush to create the octopus's tentacles.
Step 4
Glue the paper strips underneath the bell using adhesive dots.
Step 5
Attach 2 large googly eyes and a pretty bow using adhesive dots.
Step 6
Draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Step 7
Mix colors to create beautiful colorful octopuses!
