Clown Handprint Canvas
In this easy Carnival craft activity, children will create a clown canvas using their handprint. It’s a fun party craft that will delight young children because, let’s face it, painting with their hands is so much fun!
This canvas will allow little artists to express their creativity while creating a beautiful keepsake to show to friends and family.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a reindeer board, you need:
- a square wooden support 18 cm
- finger paint + a paintbrush
- a red pompom
- confetti
- a fabric bow
- two mobile eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a black paint marker
- glue stick
- adhesive gel dots
Step 1:
Using a brush, apply white finger paint to the inside of the hand and colored paint to each finger.
Step 2:
Quickly place the hand on top of the square wooden base and press down firmly to transfer the handprint onto it.
Then wash the child's hand with soap and water before the paint dries.
Step 3:
Let the handprint dry for 20 minutes, then stick two Ø 2.5 cm googly eyes with adhesive gel dots.
Step 4:
Next, stick a red pompom using an adhesive dot to form the clown's red nose.
Step 5:
Using a paint marker, draw the clown's mouth.
Step 6:
Using a sticky dot, attach a fabric bow under the handprint.
Step 7:
And finally, glue the confetti all around the print using stick glue.
