How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a cute Santa Claus, you will need:
- a sturdy red or green card (A4 size)
- a sturdy beige card (A4 size)
- matching rolls of masking tape
- 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a pompom
- round stickers
- a large bell
- white stuffing
- a cord
- double-sided adhesive tape
- a pair of scissors
- a punch
Step 1
Cut a triangle with a height of 20 cm and a base of 11 cm from the sturdy red cardboard.
Cut a circle with a diameter of 8 cm from the sturdy beige cardboard.
Step 2
Cut the tip of the triangle and then make a small hole at the top using a hole punch.
Step 3
Fold the paper circle in half and then stick it onto the red triangle with double-sided tape.
Step 4
To create Santa's face, glue a pom-pom and 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm onto the beige semicircle.
Step 5
Stick 2 small round stickers under Santa's eyes to give him a cute look.
Step 6
Stick colored masking tape to decorate Santa Claus's hat.
Masking tape is very practical because it can be cut by hand by children. Moreover, it is repositionable so it can be peeled off and re-stuck in the right place in case of a mistake!
Step 7
Stick a double-sided adhesive strip at the base of the triangle.
Step 8
Remove the protective film from the adhesive and then glue on the white cotton to create Santa Claus's beard.
Step 9
Tie a cord at the top of Santa Claus's hat, as shown in the photo on the right.
Step 10
Thread a large colored bell onto the cord to add the finishing touch to your Santa Claus, then tie a double knot.
