Christmas Elf with a Paper Cup

A simple and fun Christmas craft, perfect for keeping kids entertained this winter.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Material:
To make a gnome you need:
- A cardboard cup
- White pom-poms
- A red pom-pom
- Funny eyes to stick
- Adhesive lace
- Flesh-colored and green paint + a brush
- Green yarn
- Sheets of green, flesh-colored, and black paper
- Double-sided adhesive foam
- A tube of glue
- A cutter
- A permanent marker
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
To begin, paint the upper part of the cup flesh-colored and the upper part green.
Then let it dry for 20 minutes.
Step 2:
From a sheet of green paper, cut out:
- Two strips of paper approximately 3 x 29.7 cm
- One hat shape approximately 11 x 6 cm
- One pair of arms shape approximately 2.5 x 20 cm
Step 3:
Cut out two shoe shapes approximately 7 x 2.5 cm from a sheet of black paper.
Step 4:
And using a sheet of flesh-colored paper, cut out:
- Two hand shapes approximately 2.5 x 3.5 cm
- One pair of ear shapes approximately 11 x 2 cm
Step 5:
Fold the large strips of paper into an accordion, then glue the shoe shapes onto the strips with a glue stick.
Step 6:
Next, glue the strips to the inside of the cup using adhesive foam.
Step 7:
Cut a piece of lace adhesive tape about 15 cm long and then stick it around the cup at the junction of the paints.
Step 8:
Place the bonnet shape on top of the cup and then secure it with adhesive foam like this.
Step 9:
Paste white pom poms all over the adhesive foam.
Step 10:
WARNING this step may require the help of an adult.
Using a cutter, cut two slits of about 2 cm, then slide the earring to achieve this result.
Step 11:
At the back of the cup, glue a pair of arms with adhesive foam.
Step 12:
Then glue the hand shapes together with a tube of glue.
Step 13:

Make a hole in the cup with a cutter to insert funny eyes.
Step 14:
Use adhesive foam to stick on a small red pom-pom.
Step 15:
Draw a mouth with a black permanent marker.
Step 16:
WARNING this step may require the help of an adult.
And to finish, make two holes with a cutter at the top of the cup to insert some wool to hang the elf.
