Engraved Metal Mirror
Decorate a wooden mirror with embossing metal sheets. These moldable sheets will retain the imprint of your drawings and patterns; you can also adhere rhinestones for added color and color using our permanent markers that are particularly suited for this material.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 1
Cut the metal sheet to the dimensions of the wooden heart-shaped frame.
Step 2
Start by gluing some rhinestones. Then draw the patterns of your choice on the metal heart, placing it on a surface that is not too hard (for example: a sheet of foam rubber or a magazine). To do this, lightly sketch the outlines of your drawings with a pencil, then trace them with the embossing tool to create impressions in the metal.
Step 3
Color with permanent markers. The alcohol-based inks will maintain the shine of the metal while coloring it.
Step 4
Once the decor is completed, glue the metal heart onto the wooden frame of the mirror using a hot glue gun.
