Fishing Game
In this tutorial, we propose making your own duck fishing game with your children!
This game is often played at carnivals, fairs, and birthday parties and will keep your children entertained all summer long.
Here is a lovely version of this outdoor game featuring a crab, an octopus, and a fish made from paper cups and paper.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a fishing game you will need:
- Paper cups
- A4 colored paper sheets (300 g/m²)
- Acrylic paint and a brush
- Wiggle eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- A fishing rod handle
- Color-matching pom-poms
- Aluminum wire
- Satin cord
- Adhesive dots
- A black permanent marker
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
Using a pair of scissors, cut a piece of cord 55 cm long and then tie it to the metal rod.
Step 2:
Cut a piece of aluminum wire 8 cm long and form a hook.
Step 3:
Form a loop with the aluminum wire and thread the satin cord through it, then tighten.
Step 4: The Crab
Paint a cup red.
Let dry for 10 minutes
Step 5:
Cut out the legs and claws of the crab from a sheet of red paper.
Step 6:
Using adhesive dots, stick the legs and clamps onto the cardboard cup.
Step 7:
Flip the cup over, then stick the eyes on with adhesive dots and draw the mouth with a permanent marker.
Step 8:
At the top of the cup, pierce two holes using a pair of scissors.
Step 9:
Pass a caterpillar through the two holes to create a loop and then twist the threads inside the cup to hold everything in place.
Step 10: The Octopus
Paint a cup blue.
Allow to dry for 10 minutes
Step 11:
From a sheet of blue paper, cut out five strips of approximately 11 x 3.5 cm.
Wrap the strips of paper around the permanent marker.
Step 12:
With the adhesive dots, stick the strips to the inside of the cup.
Step 13:
Next, paste the eyes and draw the mouth.
Step 14:
Make 2 holes at the top of the cup and then form a loop with a chenille.
Step 15: The Fish
Paint a cup green.
Let dry for 10 minutes
Step 16:
Cut out the 2 fins of the fish from a sheet of green paper.
Step 17:
Glue the fins and eyes, then draw the mouth with a marker.
Step 18:
Make 2 holes at the top of the cup and then form a loop with a caterpillar.
