How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
This kit includes everything you need to complete this activity:
- 6 chick cardstock cutouts
- Decorative cardstock elements
- 6 balls of yellow knitting yarn
- 6 plastic needles
- Adhesive foam squares
Step 1
Start by making a knot at the end of your thread. Then, using the needle, pass this thread to the back of the weaving support to discreetly secure it and begin your project.
Step 2
Pass the needle through the holes one by one, in any order you like. Alternate between going over and under to create a beautiful original weave.
Step 3
Once the weaving is complete, turn your support over. Secure the end of the thread at the back with a piece of adhesive tape.
Step 4
Finally, stick the cardstock elements together using adhesive dots to form your chick and decorate it.
Step 5
And there you have it, your lovely woven chick is ready! A simple and creative activity to do at any age.
