Materials:

To create this beautiful autumn scene, you will need:

- A round wooden base Ø 18 or 20 cm

- A wooden tree

- A cardboard cup

- Soft rubber tree leaves

- Movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm

- Colored paper leaves (130 g/m²)

- Green and brown paint, and a brush

- Black and white paint markers

- Glue dots

- A pair of scissors

Step 1:

Paint the cardboard cup and the wooden tree with brown paint.

Let dry for 20 minutes.

Step 2:

Paint the wooden base with green paint.

Let dry for 20 minutes.

Step 3:

From a piece of brown paper, cut out two ears (about 3 x 2 cm) and the tail (about 9.5 x 6 cm) for the squirrel.

Step 4:

Cut out the inside of both ears (2 x 1.2 cm) and the snout (about 3 x 6 cm) from a piece of light brown paper.

Step 5:

With a black paint marker, draw the nose and mouth.

Step 6:

Then draw the teeth and cheeks with a white paint marker.

Step 7:

Wrap the tip of the squirrel's tail using a brush or a pencil.

Step 8:

Using the glue dots, stick the inside of the ears onto the ears.

Step 9:

Glue the ears, movable eyes, and snout onto the cup with glue dots.

Step 10:

Turn the cup upside down and attach the squirrel's tail with glue dots.

Step 11:

Decorate the wooden tree by gluing on leaf stickers in autumn colors.

Step 12:

Finally, place the squirrel and the tree on the green wooden base and glue some rubber leaves.

You can also attach the tree and the squirrel using strong adhesive.
