Perfect for younger children, this easy-to-make activity ensures a stunning result that will melt moms' hearts. A perfect way to offer them a message full of love and creativity for Mother's Day.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity you will need:
- a sturdy cardboard frame
- a mirror effect sturdy cardboard
- colored cardboard (A6 format - 10.5 x 14.8 cm)
- sturdy cardboard flowers
- alphabet stickers
- glitter adhesive mosaics
- a glue stick
- adhesive tape
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Choose a colorful cardstock (mirror effect) and then glue it behind a cardstock frame to create the background of the picture.
Step 2
Tip: Flip the frame and also secure the mirror card with tape to reinforce the whole structure.
Step 3
Choose a colored A6 card and then cut the ends as shown in the photo to create the flower pot.
Step 4
Glue the pot onto the frame, being careful to apply glue only on the side edges and the bottom edge (as shown in the dotted lines).
This way, it will be possible to slide the flowers into the pot in a later step.
Step 5
Decorate the top and bottom of the pot with glittery adhesive mosaics.
Step 6
Customize the pot with stickers to write a message, a name, a word of love...
Step 7
Slide the sturdy cardstock flowers into the pot to finish your display.
Note: you can also glue the flowers for a permanent attachment!
