Using a small wooden pallet, wooden flowers, and solid gouache sticks, we will show you how to create a beautiful flower planter with children!
This easy craft can be made to create a lovely decoration for the home or to make a nice personalized gift for Mother's Day.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a beautiful flower box you will need:
- a mini wooden pallet
- a small rectangular wooden support
- 2 large wooden flowers
- solid gouache sticks
- large round stickers
- rubber letter stickers
- wooden ladybugs
- butterflies
- strong white glue
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the 2 wooden flowers and the rectangular support using solid poster paint.
Tip: solid poster paint is very opaque and dries almost instantly!
Step 2
Customize the small wooden palette by writing a name or message using alphabet stickers.
Step 3
Decorate the palette with a butterfly and a few wooden ladybugs.
Step 4
Glue the palette onto the rectangular support using strong white glue.
Step 5
Cut the end of the flower stems to about 4 to 5 cm.
Glue a large round sticker in the center of each flower.
Step 6
Place the 2 flowers in the wooden palette to complete your beautiful planter!
You can even stick some small ladybugs on the rectangular wooden support.
