In this Easter kids activity, create pretty and funny bells for this lovely celebration!
Paint a polystyrene bell with gold paint, then bring it to life with a pair of pompom eyes. Add adhesive gold and silver rhinestones for a touch of sparkle, and a 3D bow tie sticker to complete the decoration.
For a magical effect, place your bell on a base; it will look like it is floating in the air to distribute eggs to the little ones!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a bell, you will need:
- a 8.5 cm polystyrene bell
- a base and a wooden rod
- a pair of pompom eyes
- mini Easter eggs
- a 3D bow tie sticker
- a strip of adhesive gold and silver rhinestones
- gold paint + a brush
- a sheet of textured paper - Grass effect
- adhesive dots
- a strong adhesive stick
- a pair of scissors
- a black permanent marker
Step 1:
Paint a polystyrene bell with golden acrylic paint (in 1 to 2 coats).
Then let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Cut 4 rectangles measuring 3 x 4 cm in height and 1 square measuring 4 x 4 cm from a sheet of grass-effect paper.
Place the wooden base on the back of the grass sheet and trace the outlines if you do not wish to measure.
Step 3:
Glue the pieces of grass onto the base, starting with the square (to be glued on the upper part of the base) using a glue stick.
Then, make a hole in the center with the tip of the scissors to insert the wooden stick.
Step 4:
On the wooden base, stick some mini Easter eggs using adhesive dots.
Step 5:
With adhesive dots, stick a pair of pompom eyes on the bell.
Step 6:
Draw a smile with a black permanent marker.
Step 7:
Glue a 3D bow tie to the top of the bell.
Step 8:
Next, stick a strip of gold and silver adhesive rhinestones all around the bottom of the bell.
Step 9:
And finally, cut approximately 8 cm from the wooden stick, then gently insert the bell.
