For autumn, discover a simple and fun craft to do with children to create a super cute mushroom!
To make this original mushroom, children will need to paint and assemble a cone and a polystyrene bell, which they will decorate with pretty stickers.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make an autumn mushroom you will need:
- a polystyrene cone (11 cm)
- a polystyrene bell (8.5 cm)
- acrylic paint (skin tone, brown)
- a paintbrush
- a wooden log
- small pine cones
- eye stickers
- leaf stickers
- round rhinestone stickers
- a tube of strong white glue
- a black marker
- skewers
Step 1
Paint the cone with skin-colored paint and the bell with brown paint.
Tip: Insert the foam shapes onto skewers to paint them without getting your fingers dirty and to help them dry more easily.
Step 2
Decorate the bell with round rhinestone stickers.
Step 3
Place the bell on the cone to form the mushroom and its cap.
Then decorate the bottom of the cone with adhesive googly eyes, 2 small round rhinestone stickers, and a small line of marker to create a nice smile.
Step 4
Glue the mushroom onto a wooden log using strong white glue.
Complete the decoration by gluing a few small pine cones next to the mushroom.
Step 5
For a nice finishing touch with autumn colors, stick small leaf-shaped foam stickers onto the wooden log.
