How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make a stick pumpkin, you will need:
- 12 wooden sticks, 11.4 cm long
- orange acrylic paint
- 2 wiggle eyes, Ø 2.5 cm
- approximately 15 cm of satin cord
- a strong black card
- strong white glue or a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Etape 2.
Align 9 wooden sticks side by side and then glue 2 sticks perpendicularly to the 9 others to hold everything together.
For gluing, you can use a strong white glue or, if you want a quick bond, a glue gun.
Etape 3.
Turn the 9 sticks over and paint them with orange acrylic paint.
Etape 4.
To decorate the pumpkin:
- stick on 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm.
- cut out the nose and mouth from a piece of sturdy black paper and glue them onto the sticks.
- to make the stem, paint a stick with green paint, cut it in half, and glue the two pieces side by side at the back of the pumpkin.
Etape 5.
To hang your pumpkin, cut a piece of satin cord of about 15 cm, tie a knot on each side of the cord, and then glue each knot to the back of the pumpkin using a glue gun.
