Monster Candle Holders
With this easy and fun Halloween activity, you can create a bunch of little monsters to decorate your home!
Using a wooden candle holder, some paint, and a few stickers, children will craft unique light decorations that will surprise many on Halloween night.
A creative activity that's easy to do starting from age 3!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a spooky Halloween candle holder, you will need:
- a cubic wooden candle holder
- acrylic paint and a brush
- monster eye stickers
- metallic markers
- gold and silver cabochons
- bat stickers
- an LED candle
Step 1
Paint the wooden candlestick with acrylic paint and then let it dry for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 2
Decorate one side of the candlestick with monster eye stickers and metallic markers.
Step 3
Decorate the upper part of the candlestick by sticking on golden and silver cabochons.
Step 4
Glue 2 bats onto the candlestick.
Tip: Add a dot of glue under each sticker for a more durable hold!
Step 5
Add an LED candle to complete your creation so that it can shine in the dark.
Step 6
Vary the colors to create many other little monsters!
