With just a few polystyrene balls, tissue paper, and funny eyes, children can bring to life some amusing floating ghosts. Wrapped in their lightweight veils, these spirits take shape in the blink of an eye and can easily be hung using a transparent thread.
Hanging in the home or classroom, they appear to twirl in the air, creating a magical yet slightly spooky atmosphere. It's a perfect activity to keep children occupied while enhancing Halloween decorations!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
Here is the material needed to create a small hanging ghost:
- A polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm
- A sheet of tissue paper (or crepe paper)
- A chenille (length: 30 cm)
- Funky Emotion stick-on eyes
- A metal stick-on clip
- Creа Easy thread
Etape 2.
Cut a piece of tissue paper (or crepe paper) measuring 35 x 50 cm.
Place the polystyrene ball in the center of the paper and gently fold the paper over the ball as shown in the adjacent photo.
Etape 3.
Cut a caterpillar in half and then wrap it around the paper, just below the polystyrene ball.
Etape 4.
Plant the Funky Emotion eyes in the polystyrene ball.
Etape 5.
Here is the result obtained at this step.
Etape 6.
Insert a small metal attachment on the head of your ghost.
This way, you can attach a string and hang your ghost.
Etape 7.
Using a pair of scissors, cut the sheet of paper in several places a few centimeters in to create strips.
Etape 8.
To enhance the Halloween effect, gently crumple the paper between your hands.
Etape 9.
Vary the colors to create original little ghosts.
All you have to do now is hang them up on Halloween night.
