Today, we will learn how to make a fun harlequin using simple materials: a cardboard cup, paper doilies, and adhesive mosaics. Add a few accessories, and you can create a lovely Carnival decoration. It's easy to do, and you can even unleash your creativity by adding other accessories.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create a harlequin, you will need:
- a white paper cup
- a polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm
- two lace paper doilies
- a pompom
- glittered adhesive rubber mosaics
- a satin bow tie
- two moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- flesh-colored acrylic paint and a brush
- a glue gun
Step 1:
Paint a 7 cm ball with skin-colored paint to create the face of the harlequin.
TIP : place the ball on a skewer to paint without getting your fingers dirty.
Then let it dry for 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Decorate the white cardboard cup with glittery adhesive mosaics.
Step 3:
Using a glue gun, attach a lace doily to the top of the cup to create a collar.
Then, fold down each side and apply a dot of glue to hold the doily in this position.
Step 4:
Glue the polystyrene ball onto the placemat with a glue gun.
Step 5:
Fold a second placemat in half, then apply a dot of glue to hold it in place like this.
Step 6:
Glue the doily onto the polystyrene ball to form the harlequin's hat.
Étape 7 :
Glue a small pompom and 2 large googly eyes onto the polystyrene ball.
Step 8:
Glue a large satin bow on the collar of the harlequin.
Step 9:
Finally, stick some adhesive mosaics on the harlequin's hat.
