Materials
To make boats, you need:
- corks
- colored paper
- flower stickers
- rubber bands
- wooden skewers
- a glue gun
- a glue stick
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
To begin, glue 3 corks together using the glue gun.
Place 2 rubber bands around the corks to hold them further.
Step 2
Using a wooden skewer, make a small hole about 1 cm deep in the center of the corks.
This hole will support the mast of the boat.
Step 3
Cut the sail of the boat (approximately 10-12 cm in height) from a sheet of paper in your chosen color.
Step 4
Make 2 holes in the sail using a skewer, one at the center top and the other at the center bottom of the sail.
Insert the sail onto the skewer as shown in the photo. The widest part of the sail should be at the bottom.
Step 5
Glue foam flower stickers onto the sail to add color to the boat.
Step 6
Cut a triangle from a sheet of yellow paper to create the boat's sail.
Tip : Fold the sheet in half and cut along the fold to create a symmetrical flag that you can fold over the skewer stick.
Step 7
Apply glue to the triangle and place it on the skewer, then close it.
