Mini Cork Robots
Discover an easy craft that will keep children entertained for hours as they create cute little robots.
A creative activity in the spirit of recycling that requires only corks, push pins, and a little paint!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make small robots you need:
- corks
- acrylic paint and a brush
- colored pushpins
- colored buttons
- 12 mm googly eyes
- glue (or a glue gun for instant adhesion)
- fine-tip POSCA markers (black and white)
Step 1
Paint 2 cork stoppers with acrylic paint and let them dry for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Glue the 2 cork stoppers as shown in the photo using a special cork glue.
Tip: If you want an instant hold, you can use a glue gun!
Step 3
Insert colored pins into the caps to create the legs, arms, and antennas of the robot.
Step 4
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø12 mm with cork glue.
Step 5
To create a pretty colored robot, glue nice buttons onto the caps using cork glue!
Step 6
Draw the robot's mouth using POSCA markers (white and black).
