Jute Christmas Reindeer
Isn't this little Christmas reindeer cute?
This lovely reindeer can be placed under the tree or anywhere else in the house for the holidays. It can easily be made by children using jute, stuffing, and a few accessories!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this reindeer, you will need:
- a burlap fabric
- 2 brown pipe cleaners
- 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a colored pom-pom
- a fabric bow
- stuffing cotton
- string
- a black marker
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut a piece of jute fabric measuring 35 x 35 cm.
Step 2
Place a generous portion of white cotton in the center of the jute fabric, then fold both sides as shown in the photo.
Step 3
Join the other two corners of the burlap fabric and hold the whole thing with one hand.
Step 4
Tie the top of the jute fabric with string to create a small padded bag.
Step 5
Tie a brown caterpillar above the linen string.
This will serve as a base for making the reindeer's antlers.
Step 6
Cut a brown chenille into 2 pieces and then tie them around the main chenille to finish the reindeer's antlers.
Step 7
Glue 2 googly eyes and a pom-pom with a glue gun.
Step 8
Glue a pretty ribbon with the hot glue gun to add an elegant touch to your reindeer.
Then draw the reindeer's mouth with a black marker.
