Light-Up Christmas Decoration
With a simple cardboard plate, an LED garland, Christmas stickers, and sparkling stars, children will create a spectacular light decoration! A perfect collage and assembly activity to keep them engaged during the holidays!
Children decorate the plate using beautiful stickers before weaving the light garland through the pre-punched holes. As night falls, they light up the box and... the magic happens!

Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a small white cardboard plate
- a hole punch
- a cutting board
- Christmas character stickers
- Merry Christmas stickers
- star stickers
- an LED fairy light string
- red ribbon
- adhesive dots
Step 1
Make 12 holes around the edge of the plate using a hole punch.
Tip: use a cutting mat to protect your work surface.
Step 2
Stick a star sticker between each hole.
Step 3
Stick the "Merry Christmas" stickers on the lower part of the plate.
Step 4
Glue 3 Christmas characters in the center of the plate.
Step 5
Pass the string lights through the holes of the plate.
Step 6
Attach the garland casing behind the plate using two adhesive dots.
Step 7
Cut a piece of red ribbon, thread it through a hole, and tie a double knot to hang your lovely Christmas decoration!
Step 8
Turn on the garland in the dark for a dazzling decoration!
