Little Chick in a Flower Pot
This super cute Easter craft will create a lovely decoration with a little chick in a flower pot.
A fun and easy creative activity to do with kids for the arrival of spring and Easter!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this craft you will need:
- a small plastic flower pot
- a polystyrene egg (6 cm)
- wooden skewers
- yellow paint and a brush
- feathers
- rubber flower stickers
- googly eyes Ø 1 cm
- a planting beak
- rhinestone stickers
- white modeling clay
- adhesive lace
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Insert the polystyrene egg onto a wooden stake and then paint it yellow.
Let the paint dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Glue 2 moveable eyes and insert a plastic beak into the egg to create the chick's base.
Step 3
Choose 2 feathers to create the chick's wings and then trim them with a pair of scissors.
Step 4
Use a wooden skewer to make 2 holes on each side of the chick.
This will make it easier to insert the feathers into the polystyrene egg.
Step 5
Insert the feathers into the holes.
Step 6
Assemble the stickers together to create 3 pretty flowers.
Glue each flower onto a wooden stick.
Step 7
Place a ball of modeling dough (about 80-100 g) at the bottom of the plastic pot.
Step 8
Trim the wooden sticks using a pair of scissors, then insert the various elements into the ball of modeling clay.
Step 9
Decorate the pot with adhesive lace and pretty rhinestone stickers.
