We mistakenly received some reversed hearts in our stock, but at 10doigts, we need more than that to curb our creativity !
So we turned it into a fun and creative activity to do with your children for Easter: rabbit-shaped egg cups ! This playful activity will allow your children to develop their creativity while learning to make a decorative item for Easter.
One thing is for sure, the little artists will be proud to show their creations to the family ! So, don't hesitate and buy the necessary materials now to carry out this fun and educational activity with your children. They will love it !
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make an egg holder, you will need:
- a wooden candle holder
- a plastic egg 6 x 4.5 cm
- adhesive foam sheets
- lowercase rubber letter stickers
- rhinestone stickers
- movable eyes Ø 1.8 cm
- a rhinestone bow tie
- a pompom Ø 2 cm
- paint and a brush
- adhesive gel dots
- a strong multi-material glue stick
- a black permanent marker
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
To start painting, paint the inverted heart and the base of the candlestick with paint.
Then let it dry for 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Cut out the rabbit's ears from a sheet of adhesive foam rubber in the same color as the paint used in step 1.
Then cut out the insides of the ears and the teeth from a sheet of white adhesive foam rubber.
Step 3:
Glue the foam elements onto the wooden candlestick.
Step 4:
Stick the Ø 1.8 cm moving eyes with adhesive gel dots.
Step 5:
Next, glue a 2 cm Ø pompom at the center of the candlestick using strong multi-material glue.
Step 6:
Using a black permanent marker, draw the rabbit's whiskers and teeth.
Step 7:
Assemble the base of the candlestick with the part containing the inverted heart.
Step 8:
Next, clip the remaining pieces.
Step 9:
Customize the candlestick with alphabet stickers by forming the word "Easter".
Step 10:
Stick an egg with a glue dot.
Step 11:
Stick rhinestone stickers all over the surface of the plastic egg.
Étape 12 :
And finally, glue a rhinestone bow tie with an adhesive dot at the top of the egg.
