Little Penguins on the Ice Floe

To create this beautiful winter scene, you will need:

- a strong light blue cardstock (A4 - 300 g/m²)

- 2 sheets of strong white cardstock (A4 - 300 g/m²)

- penguin stickers

- snowflake stickers

- alphabet stickers

- a black marker

- a pair of scissors

- a glue stick

- a base made of cardstock

Tear a piece of white cardstock by hand, along its entire length and about 8 cm wide.

Tearing the paper by hand will give us a more realistic effect for the ice sheet!

Paste the strip of white paper onto the light blue cardstock to create the ice floe.

On a sturdy white card, draw and then cut out 2 domes:

- the first one to represent the igloo (about 17 cm wide)

- the second one to represent the entrance of the igloo (about 8 cm wide)

Draw a black outline a few millimeters from the edges of these 2 shapes, then draw the ice bricks of the igloo with a marker on the large dome.

Color the entrance of the igloo in black.

Glue the two parts of the igloo onto the board, making sure to leave a 2 cm space at the bottom of the sheet.

Customize the board by writing a name below the igloo using alphabet stickers.

Decorate the ice floe with penguin stickers and also paste a small penguin in the igloo.

Practical: The penguin stickers come with a sturdy card scene. This way, you can use the surplus stickers to create a second activity!

Decorate the sky with snowflake stickers.
