How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 1
For this activity, you will need at least one plaster strip (the quantity may depend on the size of the bowl you want to create).
Cut pieces of plaster strips that are approximately 15 cm long.
Step 2
Protect your work surface, then inflate a balloon to the size you want.
Prepare a bowl of water, and moisten the strips as you place them on the balloon. Then smooth them with your damp fingers.
Cover half of the surface to form your bowl. Make at least 2 layers of plaster strips to ensure the bowl is sturdy.
Let it dry.
Step 3
Once the shape has hardened, burst the balloon, and turn the cup upside down.
Make 3 feet by forming 3 balls with some wet plaster strips.
Step 4
Once the bowl is completely finished, paint the inside of the cup with white acrylic paint.
When the paint is dry, apply a generous coat of brush-on varnish.
Step 5
Without delay, pour your glitter inside so it adheres to the varnish.
Let it dry.
You can apply a light layer of varnish over your glitter to protect your creation and enhance the shine of the bowl.
And there you have it, the bowl is complete!
