Quality thick white A4 paper, acid-free, suitable for drawing, sketching, or painting.
Excellent quality/price ratio. This paper is smooth, with a very slight texture, perfectly suitable for all dry techniques: colored pencils, charcoal, pastels, markers, graphite pencils, sketching... as well as for water-based paints.
What is the weight of paper?
It refers to the weight of the paper; the thicker the sheet, the heavier it is. A very thin sheet, like printer paper, weighs on average 80 grams, and tracing paper 40 grams. From 150 grams, the paper becomes a bit stiffer, and reaches a true stiffness at 400 grams.
Thick paper is more suitable for wet techniques (gouache, watercolor) to prevent the paper from warping as much, while lighter paper is more suitable for so-called "dry" techniques, such as graphite, colored pencils, markers, charcoal…
