With a transparent plastic ball, white modeling dough like snow, and adorable cardboard silhouettes, children will create their own miniature Christmas world. A magical activity to capture the spirit of the holiday season in a beautiful decorative piece.
Prepare the base, arrange the snow using modeling dough, then insert the decorations! Santa Claus, a snowman, a Christmas tree, a little house, a reindeer... The child composes their own scene before closing the ball.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a lovely snow globe you will need:
- a plastic globe to place (Ø 9.3 cm)
- a terracotta dish (Ø 6.5 cm)
- golden paint and a brush
- white modeling clay
- wooden matches
- Christmas patterns made of card stock
- strong white glue
Step 1
Turn the terracotta dish upside down and paint it with gold paint to create an elegant base for the snow globe.
Allow the dish to dry for one hour.
Step 2
Choose the Christmas patterns that you will showcase in the snow globe, then glue a wooden matchstick to the back of each shape.
Let the glue dry for about 30 minutes.
Note: You can also use a glue gun for instant adhesion!
Step 3
Take about 150 grams of white modeling dough, shape it into a ball, and then flatten it at the bottom of the transparent dome.
The modeling dough will allow you to insert the Christmas decorations while creating a snowy ground effect.
Step 4
Create a nice Christmas scene by inserting the shapes into the modeling clay.
Step 5
Glue the ball onto the golden cup to create the base.
Step 6
Important: allow the modeling dough to dry in the air for 48 to 72 hours before sealing the plastic ball.
