Materials
To make a beautiful thermometer, you will need:
- a rectangular wooden base (15 x 25 cm)
- a large wooden thermometer
- white recycled plastic pebbles
- dark blue acrylic paint and a brush
- rubber star stickers
- round rhinestone stickers
- googly eyes (Ø 1.8 cm)
- twigs
- a glue gun
- a small metal drawing pliers
Step 1
Paint the wooden surface with dark blue acrylic paint and let it dry for about 45 minutes.
Step 2
Stick the thermometer to the right of the wooden support.
Select 2 white pebbles to form the body and head of the snowman, then glue them onto the wooden support using the glue gun.
Step 3
To decorate the snowman:
- stick on 2 wiggle eyes
- cut out a small nose from a rubber star sticker
- use jewel stickers to create the snowman's mouth and buttons on his belly.
Step 4
Glue 2 small twigs onto the first pebble to create the arms of the snowman.
Step 5
Decorate the top of the stand with colorful stars to add a festive touch.
Step 6
To hang your thermometer on a wall, here's a simple tip: use a metal clip drawing pin to attach it to the top of the wooden support. This way, it will be easy to hang it on a nail!
You can hang the thermometer outside, but we recommend placing it in a sheltered spot away from wind and rain.
