Rainbow Clown
A fun and easy activity to do with kids for Carnival!
This brightly colored clown will be made using a paper plate, colorful paper, and some stickers. Cutting and gluing are on the agenda for this craft!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a rainbow clown, you will need:
- a white cardboard plate
- round stickers
- colored cardstock
- a rainbow cardstock
- colored crepe paper strips
- a bowtie sticker
- a black marker
- adhesive tape
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the edge of the cardboard plate using colored round stickers.
Step 2
Cut out a red circle of about 7 cm in diameter and then glue it onto the cardboard plate to create the clown's nose.
Step 3
Draw the clown's eyes and mouth with a black marker.
Step 4
Cut the clown's hair into a rainbow-colored card.

Glue the hair onto the back of the cardboard plate using double-sided adhesive tape.
Step 6
Make the clown's hat using colored cardstock.
Step 7
Decorate the hat with stickers and a bowtie sticker.
Step 8
Attach the hat using double-sided tape.
Step 9
Cut 4 or 5 strips of crepe paper to the length of your choice.
Step 10
Stick the crepe paper strips behind the plate using double-sided tape.
