This easy and fun Christmas activity allows children to transform a simple flat brush into a funny Santa Claus. By using red paint, some lace, googly eyes, and a pom-pom, children create a funny character that will add a whimsical touch to your Christmas decor.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make an original ornament you need:
- a paintbrush
- red acrylic paint and a brush
- white adhesive lace
- a pom-pom
- 2 googly eyes
- metallic bows in ribbon
- a white paint marker
- golden cord
- a pair of scissors
- a glue gun
Step 1
Paint the wooden handle of the brush with red acrylic paint and let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Glue the white adhesive lace around the metal ferrule of the brush.
Step 3
Glue 2 googly eyes and a pom-pom onto the bristles of the brush to create Santa's face.
Tip: We recommend gluing all accessories (adhesive or not) with the glue gun for a strong bond.
Step 4
Glue 3 small stars in ribbon above the white lace.
Step 5
Draw white dots on the handle of the brush using a paint marker.
Step 6
Cut a piece of golden string and attach it to the hole in the handle so you can hang Santa on the tree.
