How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a mini crown you will need:
- 5 green chenille stems (30 cm)
- a small colorful fabric bow
- bi-color string
- colored sequins
- jewelry glue
- precision tweezers
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Wrap 4 pipe cleaners around a pencil to create 4 "springs".
Step 2
Thread the 4 "springs" onto a caterpillar.
Step 3
Join the two ends of the caterpillar.
Step 4
Tie the two ends of the caterpillar together.
Step 5
Cut the excess chenille with a pair of scissors.
Step 6
Slide a piece of bicolored string between the stitches of the chenille so you can hang your mini crown.
Step 7
Glue a small colored bow.
Step 8
Glue about 6 to 10 colored sequins onto the crown using precision tweezers.
Let the glue dry for a few hours.
Note: The precision tweezers can be very useful for developing children's fine motor skills and precision!
