Discover a fun Christmas craft that depicts Santa Claus in a chimney during the gift distribution round!
For this craft, children will use a cardboard pencil holder and rectangular stickers to create a lovely brick chimney in which they will add small gifts and Santa Claus.
An original decoration to display in the house for the end of year celebrations.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a hexagonal cardboard pencil holder
- rectangular stickers
- festive message stickers
- white adhesive lace
- mini gifts
- Christmas stickers
- a synthetic fir branch
- skewers
- cotton wool
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the pencil pot using the red rectangular stickers to create a brick chimney.
Note: each pack of stickers contains 3 sheets of red rectangles, allowing you to create 6 chimneys.
Step 2
Cut a piece of white adhesive lace and stick it to the top of the chimney.
Step 3
Decorate the fireplace with a "Merry Christmas" sticker.
Step 4
Insert 3 mini gifts onto skewers.
Step 5
Fill the cotton pencil holder.
This will help us hold the mini gifts to be placed in the fireplace.
Step 6
Adjust the length of the wooden sticks using a pair of scissors and then place the 3 gifts in the chimney.
Step 7
Stick the Father Christmas sticker onto a wooden stick and then place it in the pencil pot, in front of the 3 gifts.
Step 8
Connect and then twist the 2 ends of a synthetic pine branch to create a small wreath.
Step 9
Place the chimney at the center of the crown for a nice finish.
