Skiing Snowman

To make this little snowman you will need:

- Two polystyrene balls (Ø 10 cm and Ø 7 cm)

- Yarn

- Wiggle eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)

- A cardboard roll

- Plastic buttons

- Natural wood strips (15.5 x 1.8 cm)

- Metallic colored pipe cleaners

- A pompom

- Wood sticks (10 cm)

- A glue gun

- A pair of scissors

For the hat :

Cut a piece of cardboard roll about 1.5 cm high and approximately 40 strands of yarn about 30 cm long.

Tip : Use multiple colors of yarn to create a multicolored hat.

Fold the wool thread in half and pass it inside the cardboard circle.

Pass both ends of the thread through the loop and pull.

Use this technique to cover the entire surface of the cardboard circle.

Once the circle is covered, pass the threads through the inside to create the "fold" of the bonnet.

Cut a small piece of wire to attach the whole using a double knot.

Trim with a pair of scissors to create a nice pompom.

For the scarf :

Cut 12 strands of wool approximately 70 cm long.

Tip : Use multiple colors of wool to create a multicolored scarf.

For the braiding:

- Separate the threads into 3 strands, each made up of 4 wool threads.

- Pass the right strand over the middle one.

- Pass the left strand over the middle one.

- Continue crossing the right and left strands over the middle one in turn.

- Then tie the two ends.

Glue a polystyrene ball with a diameter of 7 cm onto a ball with a diameter of 10 cm using a glue gun.

Then glue 2 wooden strips to form the skis, ensuring that the figure remains stable.

Glue the hat, the googly eyes, and the pom-pom onto the ball with a diameter of 7 cm to create the snowman's face.

Wrap the snowman's scarf around its neck two times and make a small knot to give it the shape of a scarf.

Glue a few buttons onto the 10 cm Ø styrofoam ball.

Also glue a button at the end of the 2 wooden sticks to create the ski poles.

To create the arms of the figure, cut 2 pipe cleaners to 8 cm and insert them into the foam ball Ø 10 cm.

Then wrap the ends of the pipe cleaners around the ski poles to complete the creation.
