Snowman with a Bucket on Its Head
Whether it snows or not, here is an easy activity that will allow you to create a funny snowman with the kids !
A great idea for a creative workshop themed around winter for children.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make a snowman you will need:
- 1 polystyrene ball Ø 10 cm
- 1 polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm
- a round wooden base Ø 8.5 cm
- a wooden skewer
- 2 wooden sticks, 9.3 cm long
- a small metal bucket
- 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a ribbon
- 3 buttons
- 2 pom-poms
- a roll of double-sided adhesive tape
- strong white glue (or a hot glue gun)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- a pair of scissors
Etape 2.
Paint the round wooden support with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Etape 3.
Glue the 10 cm Ø polystyrene ball to the center of the round base using strong white glue, then allow it to dry for a few hours.
For those who are more impatient, you can also use a hot glue gun for quick bonding.
Etape 4.
Insert a wooden skewer (like a kebab skewer) in the center of the large ball.
Push the skewer all the way in and then adjust it with a pair of scissors so that only 4 cm remains outside of the ball.
Etape 5.
Push the polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm onto the visible part of the wooden stick.
Etape 6.
Insert 2 wooden sticks, each 9.3 cm long, into each side of the large ball to create the snowman's arms.
Etape 7.
Place a small metal bucket upside down on the snowman's head.
Etape 8.
Place a piece of double-sided tape on the back of 2 googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm, then stick them between the bucket and the polystyrene ball.
Etape 9.
Using double-sided tape, stick a pompom onto a small polystyrene ball to create the snowman's nose.
You can also attach a pompom on top of the bucket.
Etape 10.
Using double-sided tape, stick 3 buttons of assorted sizes onto the snowman's belly.
Etape 11.
Cut a piece of ribbon about 25 cm long to create the snowman's scarf.
Adjust with a pair of scissors if necessary.

Très facile à réaliser et fait son effet. Je le préconise pour des marquage de places lors d'un repas de fêtes (avec des petites boules, le plus difficile c'est de trouver des tout petits seaux)
